Increase in the number pupils registering and attending madrassas

The rural Madaris stand in number 335 with 366 mualims teaching. In the year 2010, almost 38,000 pupils were registered and 26,000 were attending madrass daily on average. In the National Quran competition, 8 of the 13 students that excelled in the finals were from Albarakah Madaris. A Hifiz student from SWAMA was the best at Inter- Hifiz Institutions and he is going to represent Malawi at a Qur’an Competition in Mauritania.
