The Mama Khadija Education Complex, based in Namwera – 60km from Mangochi Boma – is going to be a very unique education centre as it has a primary school, a secondary school that accommodates 1000 girls and a Health centre.
The construction of the 1000 Girls Secondary School started early in the year 2006 and shall be ready by mid 2007. It has 20 classrooms, eight hostel blocks, 47 staff houses, an administration block, a laboratory and a Masjid/Mosque.
It is also expected that in the near future, Al-Barakah Charity Trust will construct a Rural Development Education Centre and a Nursing College of Nursing at Mama khadijah Education Complex.
All the programs are open to all Malawians irrespective of their ethic, cultural or religious background.
